Our Staff As staff members, our role is to equip every Christian at DPC to serve Jesus. David BurgeDavid and his wife Ashleigh have four children, and love being part of the Drummoyne community. Prior to serving at DPC, David lectured at Sydney Missionary and Bible College and was pastor of Walcha Presbyterian Church. Their family also spent several years in Mongolia. Janet RileyJanet enjoys exploring the waterside paths around Drummoyne and chatting with people about the difference Jesus makes. Before joining the church family at DPC she had a pastoral role and lectured at Sydney Missionary and Bible College and practised as a vet in country NSW, 'All Creatures Great and Small' style. Andrew DawsonAndrew and his wife Rachel have two sons, Zachary and Levi. They enjoy visiting the local cafes and parks of Drummoyne and spending time outside. Before joining the DPC community, they spent three years at Sydney Missionary and Bible College preparing to share Jesus with whoever God connects them with. Rachel DawsonRachel works part-time supporting the children's ministry at DPC. She spends the rest of her days with her two young boys, catching up with other families around Drummoyne and inviting them to hear the good news of Jesus. Before coming to DPC, Rachel worked as a primary school teacher in Canberra and studied at Sydney Missionary and Bible College alongside her husband Andrew. Joann TeoJo loves Jesus - dog, walks and coffee - in that order. She became a Christian as an international student in 2015 after completing her doctoral research. She is currently studying at Moore College and is passionate about seeing Jesus' local church be the light for their community. She enjoys journeying with others in their spiritual walk, including chatting with you about questions you may have about Christianity. Will Steele-SmithWill is married to Betty and has two young boys. Having just finished his studies at Sydney Missionary and Bible College, Will would love to one day serve in indigenous communities. Will loves hanging out with youth and with visitors at church. Come and say hi if that’s you! Nurila Burzhubaeva | Office Manager Nurila is from Kyrgyzstan, where she worked in management and office administration for over ten years before coming to Australia. She joined the DPC staff team in this role in 2014 and has enjoyed providing support to the church pastoral team and ministries.
