Children & Youth
Children are an important and valued part of our Church family. We run several dedicated groups meeting their needs.
Sunday Church
Children are welcome at our Sunday church services. We have a formal Kids’ Church catering for toddlers through to Year 8 students at our 9am and 10:45am gatherings and children are also welcome to sit in the Church with their parents. Parents with younger kids are welcome to use the creche area equipped with audio and video feed at the back of the church.
Playgroup
We run a weekly playgroup for children aged 0 - 5 years each Wednesday during school term from 10:00am-11:45pm. There is free play, morning tea for both parents and kids, music and story time. If you are interested in joining, please send an email to playgroup@drummoyne.org.au.
DY
DY (Drummoyne Youth group) is where teens, Y6 - Y12, come together to learn about Jesus on Friday nights at 7pm during school term. It is a great time to relax, socialise, play some games and learn from the Bible in a safe environment.
Email dy@drummoyne.org.au for more information.
YABS
YABS (Young Adults’ Bible Study group) is where our senior teens (Y10-12) and Uni age people gather together monthly after the 10:45am service on a Sunday. We seek to live life to the full and go deeper in our following of Jesus.
Email sy@drummoyne.org.au for more information.
Scripture classes at Drummoyne Public School
We have a team of teachers who, together with volunteers from two other local churches, Drummoyne Baptist and St Bede’s, teach the Bible at Drummoyne Public School on Fridays during school term. If your child is a student at Drummoyne Public and you would like them to attend one of the Scripture classes, please contact the school office.
Child Safety
We take seriously the need to provide a safe and loving place for children to learn and play. It is mandatory for anyone who holds a leadership role at DPC or is involved with the care of children under 18 to undertake Child Protection Training and adhere to our Code of Conduct.
